Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, and contribute to financial reporting and compliance processes.

Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient accounting procedures while gaining exposure to a broad range of financial activities within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Support external audits and provide the required documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Prepare financial reports and management presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
  • Support tax and statutory compliance activities where applicable.
  • Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Professional accounting certifications or ongoing certification programs are considered a plus.
